Greetings from Florida!
Time to say goodbye to the winter months and a tentative hello to spring. It’s also time to remind you about some upcoming dates in March and April.
Thursday, March 9 – Meet & Greet/Fundraiser for TDTC member Katlynn Bugda Gwilt at Skybox, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Monday, March 13 – Annual TDTC Candidates Night at Luna Rossa, 6:30 – 9 p.m.
Thursday, March 23 – Candidates Forum at Town Hall/Tewksbury TV, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 1 – Town Election
Saturday, April 29 – TDTC Meeting at Town Hall, 10 a.m.
Even though our town elections are nonpartisan, one of our members will be on the ballot in a two-way race against an Undeclared candidate. Our bylaws clearly state that we as a committee may not endorse in town elections, but I feel you should be made aware of our fellow committee member who has stepped up and is running to serve Tewksbury.
Katlynn “Kate” Bugda Gwilt, PhD – Associate member running for the first time for the Board of Health.
Note also that there is only one candidate running for TWO available seats on the Library Board of Trustees. We as a committee previously supported a successful write-in campaign for Bonnie Page. If anyone is interested in a similar effort, please let me know.
Tewksbury is very fortunate to have a wonderful BoH candidate running on the April 1 ballot, so please show your support by voting. Polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Best,
Cathy Dwyer, Chair, TDTC
